Our home is a little village in the idyllic Bavarian Alpenland. We live in a former farm house surrounded by meadows and woods, with a view into the Allgäuer Mountains.
We, that is my husband Joe, our three daughters Jana, Aileen and Fiona, and myself. Moreover, our home is populated by four Aussies, 2 Horses and a couple of cats, rabbits, sheep and ducks.
My husband was born in England and works as a self-employed farrier in our area. Because of his job horses always played an important role in his life. But it wasn`t only the horses that forged his life, but again and again dogs, that were present right from the beginning of his childhood. For many years his mother bred Poodles, Yorkshire Terriers and Border Terriers in England.
Obviously this passion for four-leged creatures was also put into my cradle, nevertheless I had to wait for many years until I had the possibility to own my own animals. With the age of 9 I started horse-riding and still nowadays I am dedicated to this sport. Meanwhile more and more the dogs came into my life and a couple of years ago I discovered the fascination of herding. Because of that reason a little flock of Krainer Sheep is now part of our farm.
