Zita`s mother S Bar L Hickory Smoke lives in Finland.


WTCH JJ Chip is worked on cattle, sheep and ducks. His owner Milene Hansen - Ligaen Australian Shepherds - also goes with him to Border Collie trials in Denmark.

Zita is "my Aussie".

She has got a calm temperament and is reserved with strangers which means she just keeps some distance if she doesn`t like them. She is not particularly protective and the only thing she doesn`t like are cats................

When it comes to working she is totally different. She is only interested in her sheep and ducks - sometimes she reminds of a Border Collie when she is just lying outside the pen and watches the sheep. Her herding instinct is very strong and in the beginning we had a couple of "battles". She liked to grip a lot - and very hard...........We have got it in "grip" now - most of the times! She always keeps her livestock together and would never loose an animal. Her presence is very high, which causes sometimes troubles with the pen work - but we are working on it.
